The Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommuncations Commision (NBTC) mandates all prepaid SIM cards to be registered by their owners.

Registration is always FREE*.

2. National ID Card or Passport

Purchasing from i-Kool Dealers:
When purchasing your brand new sim, please present your National ID card or passport to your dealer, and they will take care of the registration process with you.

Online purchases:
When purchasing a SIM through our online store, before you can begin using our SIM, you need to register at any of the following locations
    • i-Kool3G Dealer (Find Dealers)
    • Loxley Building Klong Toey
    • Mobile Service Center at Loxley Building Bangkhen
    • NBTC Branches

I've got my i-Kool card. Now what?

Pop the SIM into your phone or tablet. Fill in the SIM registration on your screen(when applicable). Then you are good to go.

What's Mobile Number Portability (MNP)?

MNP allows you to change network service providers without losing your number. That means you can keep your mobile number even if you switch services.

What are the requirements for MNP?

Please ensure that the following requirements are met before submitting your request:
• Fill in the application form.
• A photocopy of Identification Card with signature.
• You have settled all outstanding/overdue payment(s) with your current mobile service provider.
• You are not tied to any contract with your current mobile service provider.
• Your current mobile line is still active.
• You cannot be blacklisted by any mobile service provider.
• Make sure your SIM is registered to previous service provider before MNP. If not, customers must do the registration first.

Supported documents for MNP

Personal:
• Application form.
• A photocopy of Identification Card with signature.
• Receipt from your previous service provider. (For Post-paid)
• In case of assigning authority, the original authorize letter is required with the photocopy of the attorney’s Identification Card with signature.

Corporate:
• Application form.
• A photocopy of Company Certificate, issued no more than 3 months with the company stamp (if any) in every pages with signature to certified true copy.
• A photocopy of Identification Card and sign.
• In case of assigning authority, the original authorize letter is required and the photocopy of the attorney’s Identification Card with signature.
• Receipt from your previous service provider. (For Post-paid)
• While the transferring process is happening, can I still normally make any phone call or text message?
• You can normally use your SIM card. Once the process is completed, your old service will be deactivated and you can start using your old number with your new i-Kool service.


Do I have to pay for MNP?

You have to pay 29 THB for the MNP fee in the day you submit the MNP application form and supported documents.

Do I have to change the SIM card?

Yes, you will get a new SIM card immediately after you pay for the MNP fee.

How do I know when the MNP process to i-Kool is complete?

You will get a call from our Customer Care informing you.
